To note: Due to COVID-19 physical distancing regulations, shuttle cart seating is strictly limited to 2 x participants only per tour, until further notice. Unfortunately, the Campus Tour team are unable to accommodate extra guests on the day or any person/s without a ticket on the day of tour.

Campus Tour Safety

Campus Tours adhere to COVID-19 Australian Government health guidelines and will continue to maintain a safe environment by:

• IMPORTANT: Asking participants to postpone their tour if feeling unwell or showing any COVID-19 symptoms until well and/or tested. If waiting for test results to please not attend campus

• Participants maintaining physical distance to the extent reasonably practicable, including a distance of 1.5m on shuttle cart and while on the walking aspect of tour

• Practicing healthy hygiene, using cleaning and sanitising products to sanitise hands and surfaces including thorough cleaning and disinfecting of high touch point areas between each tour and following handwashing protocol before and after tours

• Providing to participants and using hand sanitiser before, during and after the tour

• Encouraging the download of the Australian Government COVID Safe App to staff, assisting health authorities to conduct contact tracing when necessary

• Providing instruction to all tour participants on the Queensland Health safety guidelines for tour participation

Led by a knowledgeable guide, our tours will allow you to discover UQ's historic Great Court, state of the art teaching facilities and student recreational areas.

Shuttle Cart Tours have been particularly tailored for prospective students interested in studying at UQ.

Throughout the tour all guests are encouraged to ask their knowledgeable guides any questions they may have about studying at UQ.

Nestled alongside the Brisbane River – the St Lucia Campus has been a haven for knowledge seekers since its inception in 1939. With plenty of leafy boulevards, picturesque picnic spots and bustling cafes – there are so many unique discoveries awaiting you!

Personalised tour request - If you are an international student and require a more personalised tour, please email uqint.tours@uq.edu.au to discuss different tour options.

Commencing Students

If you are a new UQ student, please go to the UQ Orientation - Campus Tours page for regular campus tour dates and times. This is a great way to get to know the campus before classes start and become more comfortable with your new surroundings.

What you need to know before you register

Seating

Shuttle Cart seating is strictly limited. To avoid disappointment, please ensure when you complete your booking, to list the exact number of guests wishing to participate in the tour. Unfortunately, the Campus Tours team will be unable to accommodate extra guests on the day.

Age limit

To ensure the safety of all our guests, a 10+ age limit is essential for guests on this campus tour. Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Travelling to the St Lucia Campus

With a variety of different public transport options available – getting to the St Lucia Campus has never been easier!

UQ St Lucia is serviced by a network of rapid-transit busways, which offer congestion-free, fast and reliable bus services to and from campus. Alternatively, you can opt to catch the scenic City Cat.
